World Of Learning at IU8 We are: Customized Learning, Rigorous Experiences, Caring Adults The World of Learning joined Appalachia IU8 in the 16-17 School Year. We started by building on our relationships with district partners across PA; our mission was to provide small and rural schools with options to expand opportunities for learners. Today, as the IU8 World of Learning team continues to grow and stretch the boundaries of live virtual instruction, we work with people who are passionate about creating meaningful experiences for students. Our offerings have expanded from Modern Languages to Core and Elective Courses, Credit Recovery and the support of EL Learners and Facilitators. We have also expanded through providing Professional Development to support schools and districts on the journey of using Virtual Design and Learning anywhere.
